Our Approach to Building Equity and Inclusion in STEM
Education
GirlsBeYou supports young women in STEM through mentorship with female professionals, fostering confidence, belonging, and growth while challenging stereotypes and promoting gender equity.
Financial Support
Girls, Be You reduces financial barriers for female STEM students in Canada by offering scholarships with partners, easing stress, promoting diversity, and creating mentorship and networking opportunities.
Outreaches and Campaigns
Engaging in school STEM outreaches like maths contests, science fairs, and chemistry experiments, in partnership with organisations such as the Science Centre.
Advocacy on social media and partnerships
GirlsBeYou champions women in STEM with campaigns, role models, and data insights, partnering to build community, drive policy, and amplify marginalised voices..
